Okay a few of you know that I have wanting to be on the American Cancer Society Advisory Council for the Great West Region "B". So what is Advisory you ask, it is a group of volunteer's who help train the Relay's with in our region. We will host a training called Summit in September which is held in Reno each year, then we also host Relay University's within Washington, Alaska, Idaho, Montana, and North Dakota. So I will get to do some traveling as well. I will be traveling to Spokane, Washington this weekend for our first meeting. At this point I have NO clue what I will be doing but I am sure I will enjoy it and will learn lots.
Okay so on the home front all is going well still trying to keep myself busy so I don't sit at home crying my eyes out at night. My heart is still in a million pieces and I am still scared of the unknown but what doesn't kill us makes us stronger right? I am trying this new thing each morning (thank you Judy) to say a prayer to bring me peace and calm to my heart, and help guide me down the path of life. So far it is seeming to help!
One other thing that I am excited about that I have not really shared is I will be baptised on April 12th, 2009 Easter Sunday at the Trinity Luther Church. I am looking forward to growing as a child of God.
Okay so other then these few things nothing really new is going on in my life just taking one day at a time and looking forward to what life has to offer me.
