Relay For Life University

This is Jeff Noland he lives in Portland, Oregon. He is fighting cancer. He was a guest speaker on Saturday. His story is sad and made me cry but I was touched that he was able to get up there and tell us his story. To share his journey, a journey that is a fight each day. There is no cure for his cancer. Thank you Jeff for sharing your story with us.
Thank you to our staff partners who work so hard along side us to have a great event.

A thank you to the Cancer Survivors you are the reason why I volenteer to help find the cure.

Spent Friday and Saturday in Post Fall, ID at a American Cancer Society training for Relay For Life. I had a blast was able to meet new people and talk with friends that I have made the last few years attending this event. In Friday's breakout I attended Communication is the Key!! Learned how to make sure that all volunteer's and teams have all the information that they need to have a great success. Saturday's first breakout went to Online Communication & Technical Chairs, Hermiston may become a online event along with offline. This was all new information for me. As of right now Hermiston is not a online event, as of today we still do not know if we will be an online event. Then in my last breakout for Saturday was Hook,Line and Sinker(how to sell Relay)I also was able to work on my "Why I Relay".

I had so much fun in Post Falls. The hotel was so cool, I had a nice room on the ground floor with a door out onto a patio that over looked the Snake River. I had a king size bed all to myself with 6 pillows. I want to go back to there and spend a weekend with Corey.
