Blog Challenge # 22

It's the first day of the work week, so it must be Movie Monday and I want to go with a light hearted romp to kick off our week. So here's the question. If your life was made into a movie
1) What would be the title?
2) Who would play YOU in the lead role?
3) Give us one memorable line from your life movie that people on the streets would quote.

1) Spacy Stacy's Reality
2) Reese Witherspoon
3) Enjoy it!!

Boobs are over rated!!!

Okay for some of you that do not know all ready I had a mammogram done on Monday April 23rd and on Tuesday April 24th I received a phone call from the hospital about my mamo and that they need me to come back in to have another mamo and ultrasound done on my left breast. So the first question is why? What did you find? Of course the gal who is making my appointment does not have the information in which I want answers too. She sett's me up with an appointment on May 7th at 10am (mamo) 10:30am (ultra sound) and let's me know that my doctor has a copy of the report. So I get off the phone with her and call Corey and freak out. I am thinking the worst that I have the C word. See both my mother and grandmother are breast C survivors. So after Corey calms me down I call my doctor to see what the report says and at this time it has not been attached to my file and ask for a call back. So then I call my mom and my mother-in-law about this. They give me words of advice and to not worry at this point. So by Wednesday I still have not heard anything from my doctor so I go to there office to get a copy of the report. This is what it says:

Bilateral Mammograms:
Mammograms are compared to priors in April of 2006 and reflect some differences. On the left side there are two rounded densities that my be small cysts. There is no evidence of architectural distortion or significant worrisome calcifications on either side. I will schedule the patient for some additional studies to try to determine it these are significant or not.
Impression:
1: two separate possible densities on the left
2: bi-rads 0: incomplete or needs additional imaging evaluation

So after readying this Corey and I look at each other and ask what the heck is architectural distortion? I think I will be calling 1-800-ACS-2345 to find out what this means in terms we can understand. 1-800- ACS-2345 is the American Cancer Society's phone number that you can call 24/7 and ask questions and get information about cancer. I will keep you posted on the out come.

Truth or Dare time

Describe in excruciating detail your MOST embarrassing moment. The one where you wanted to crawl in a hole and die. No holding back. We want every teensy eensy agonizing detail.

Okay so the most embarrassing moment well I have had a few but the one that comes up the most is the BLACK SEAGULL!!! And YES I know there is no such thing.

So I am on vacation with my parents and brother in Depot Bay, Oregon sitting at a little mom and pop restaurant for breakfast when I look out the window and see a black bird and my mouth opened and out came see the black seagull. Then as my parents said what! I said oh wait that's not a seagull but a CROW!! My dad had such a good laugh about it that he had to the waitress about my fumble, I was so embarrassed then I started to cry as we sat there. I looking out over the Pacific Ocean with no where to run and hide. So every time that anyone see's a crow it's Stacy's black seagull.

Fearful Friday

It's FEARful Friday here at the Blog Challenge thread!!

Okay the one that come to mind is the night that Corey and I are laying in bed he is watching tv and I am just about to fall a sleep when we hear a noise from outside like something landed in the back yard by our bedroom. Corey gets up to check it out when he looks out front he finds a Chevrolet s-10 blazer parked in front of the house and a man standing in the front yard. Corey comes back to the bedroom tells me this information then gets dressed and grabs his gun and goes out the front door and confronts the man. Corey leaves the front door open so I can hear what is going on then Corey yells at me to call the police I grad the phone in the bedroom go into the hallway and lay on the floor (just in case bullets start flying) as I am talking to the dispatcher I hear another man's voice and the same sound that we heard earlier ( the other man jumped the fence and got into our back yard, the noise was him hitting the ground). So I am trying to relay information to the dispatcher and I can hear her relay things to the officers that are sitting out on the main street that leads out of the subdivision (which is a dead end streets) but they are not coming up to our home to get the guys. Corey is trying to keep the two guys in front of the house until the police arrive. But one gets into the vehicle and drives away and the other one gets away on foot. So the guys are gone and Corey goes and looks in through the back yard to see if they where wanting to steal or if they left something. Well they left a back pack with drugs and money in it. We got the police to come and pick up the bag and take it with them. But a few hours later the one guy who got a way on foot came back to our home to find his bag. Corey told him that the police took the bag. So for a few weeks after that happened I was not relaxed in my own home ex specially when Corey was not home. At least everything worked out safely for all of us.

Truth

TRUTH OR DARE!
Here's how we play. I pose a question. You can either choose to answer OR take the DARE! So here we go!
TRUTH
Have you ever "regifted" a present. If you have, tell us what the gift was, who you gave it to and why the gift was passed on to another person. Was it a hideous velvet Elvis painting? A chia pet? A sweater that was three sizes too large and in a color you'd never wear? Go to your blog and tell us about it. or
DARE
If you haven't or don't want to answer, go to you blog and tell us about the best gift you ever received and why you loved it. Maybe it was an family heirloom that was passed down to you. Or a special vacation? A handmade piece of pottery from your child? Share with us in your blog post why that gift, out of all the gifts you have ever received in your life is the one near and dear to your heart!

I will take Truth with a twist:

This last Christmas I recieved a regift from my co-worker!! We have different company's that come in and give us key chains, candy, tins with mints, pens, ect. Anyways I open the gift from and there is a nice glass box with angels on it, but it's what's inside the box that is regifted. She put a key chain inside a mint tin and placed it inside the glass box. Now mind you I already recieved some of these same items and put them in a draw somewhere in the office because I would not use them myself. So I wonder what I will get this Christmas.

Stacy needs...

The blogging challenge for today is ................................ Webster's Wednesdays! On Wednesdays we will play with words. We will embrace the word. We will celebrate the word. So let's Define our Needs shall we? Because Webster's, after all, is largely about definitions. You thought it was all about the spelling? Or pronunciation? Or origin? Pshawwww So here's how you play the game today. Go to the Google search engine and type in your name and the word needs For Example....Lisa Needs

Okay here are my results:

Stacy needs unconditional love from her boyfriend, Julian. F*&@ the unconditional love... are we talking about Julian McMahon? Wow!! So glad that I do not have her problem.

The fact that the idea of a "born-again virgin" isn't even a concept in which Stacy believes bears no relevance to her trials. Stacy needs sex, and she ... Are we seeing a pattern here!! What's up with this?

It would be good if they were friends or got together after, Stacey having someone like Bradley to keep her steady and being there for her. Stacey is spelled wrong it should be Stacy.

Speaking of Stacy Keibler showing up looking a tad bland these days, my buddy over at HornyOyster.com just ran a contest to see if Stacy was hotter than ... I'm pretty sure that I am hotter then anyone else:) lol!!!

From Dr. Phil show~
He tells Chris that he needs to discover what Stacy's needs are. "Maybe she needs a soft place to fall that day or she needs a shoulder to cry on," he says
. There are times that I do need a shoulder to cry on and most of the time it is Corey's.

Sexy Women » Stacy Keibler Really Needs To Bring Sexy Back
Most Beautiful, Hot, and Sexy Celebrities Women In The World. Okay who is this Stacy Keibler??

Stacy needs little training. I guess she’s born with that speaking talent. ... Stacy needs to communicate with her parents to hopefully reach a better ...

Homework Help Forum: My Daughter Stacy needs help in math plz help! Current Questions Post a New Question · Answer this Question Further Reading ... I am good at math as long as it's not over my head.

Of course if Stacy had done the adult thing about it, she wouldn't have told House he was the one, then taken a job where she'd see him every day -- even if ... she really loves him!!! hehehehe

Stacy needs sex, and she needs it fast, and that's all her little brain can comprehend. I’d like to protest the part about my “little brain. ... Don't we all!!

Well this was a educational challenge. Thanks Lisa for the challenge.

Sping is in the air!!

This tree lets me know that spring is in the air, with the blooms through out the tree. Happy spring!

A Tree is GONE...

well almost gone anyways. We had a silver maple tree taken down in the back yard. We are sad to see it go and will miss all the shade it provided in the summer. So this is how we spent our Easter Sunday working our tails off getting the piles out of the yard. Thanks to Jodi and Craig for the use of there trailer and taking the tree limbs for the burn pile. It took the two man crew 4 days to cut down the tree but it will take Corey and me longer then that to clean up the mess that is left behind.

Unexpected moments

"Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get"
Challenge to you is:
Write about what this quote means to you. How have the unexpected moments impacted your life? Do you have a particular memorable unexpected moment? Do you hate surprises or do you go with the flow?

Wow this is one that take you down memory lane. So for me the most unexpected moment is when I got the phone call at 12:30am that my Great Grandmother had past away. She lived 3 1/2 hours away from me and I was lucky to have spend that Sunday afternoon with her before she pasted. Even though she had a heart attack the prior weekend she looked great and was out of the hospital and at home with family she gave lots of hugs and kisses that day, it's as if she knew her time was near. I left that afternoon not worried about her she was strong women, but her time had come and she passed away that night.

For the most part don't like suprised I like to know what's coming. I am a list and planner type of girl. I like having things in order and I like to keep them that way if I can. There are times that I tell myself relax go with the flow of things it will all work out in the long run. DH is a go with the flow type of man and that has helped me though the years.

I am not sure which two people said the quote but one is Forrest Gump!

What is my Name?

Challenge #12. Here's today's topic to post about... Tell us about your NAME! yep, that's right... your name. How did your parents come up with it?... is there a story behind it?.... Do you like your name?... if you could have named yourself, would it have been the same or something different?... just go with it!... no rules! We just want to learn more about ya!

My name is Stacy Lynette I am named after someone that my mother knew way before I came along. My mom did forget at one point about Stacy and almost named my Vanessa, so happy that I ended up with Stacy (Thanks Grandma). For the longest time I hated my middle name but as I am getting older I don't hate it, in fact I love it!! I am totaly happy with my name and would not have named me anything different. I can't see myself with a different name even though some people call me Tracy. Stacy is my name!!

What's true and what is a lie!!

#1 is True~ after spending 48 hours in a classroom and spending hours and hours studing from text books I passed my 2 1/2 hour test the first time with a 71% (had to have a 70% to pass).

#2 is True~ I was 19 for 1 week before getting married to my DH, we are still married and will celebrate our 14th wedding annivasary in September.

#3 is False~ I have not been fishing on the Pacific Ocean but I really want to one of these years. I love spending time out at the beach and it's so nice that my grandparents live out there.

Blog Challenge #11

Shandy thought for this challenge we'd try something a little more "interactive"... so today we are going to tell 3 statements about ourselves. 2 will be TRUE and 1 will be FALSE. In the comment section, everyone votes on which one they think isn't the true statement. On the next blog challenge we'll reveal the truth of things!

1) It only took me one try to obtain my insurance license
2) I got married at the age of 19
3) I have fished in the Pacific Ocean

Blog Challenge #10

So Shandy asked the question what do we collect. The first thing that came to mind was scrapbook supplies but any scrapbooker collects that. So as I am cropping with the girls Friday night it came to me that I collect purses of all shapes and sizes, I even did a mini album of them last year. I don't even know why I love purses so much. I never played with them as a little girls and it's only been in the last 5 years that I LOVE to purse shop.
