Blog Challenge #33
So Shandy asked us today about 5 things you would like to do/see/go in your lifetime!
1) I would like to travel outside of the United States to Italy, France, Europe. Would like to see new things, eat different foods and appearance there lives.
2) I would like to go to be able to spend a year in Alaska. Why Alaska you ask because I love the cold weather and the wild life.
3) Reach my weight loss goal of 100 pounds and then be able to keep it off the rest of my life.
4) I want to life a long happy life with my dh, I want to be that old couple who still hold hands as they go for a walk.
5) I want to see a cure for Cancer in my life time.

My Dear Corey
Today's challenge from Shandy is to tell you about our first date with our DH. I must first give you some back ground first.
I was 16 when I met Corey and my parents did not want me to see him due to the fact that there is 6 years difference in age. So we really did not date much but hung out talking and getting to know each other, until I was caught with him at Sheri's Restaurant at 1:30am by my dad. I had went to the races with Corey then after words we went to Sheri's for a late night meal as we where leaving my dad came over to me and told me to get myself home and we would talk about this later. My dad stayed a moment and spoke to Corey as I left to drive home. As I was driving home all I could think about is what is going to happen to me and what they where talking about. Once I finally made it home my dad pulled in and we talked about Corey. My dad wanted to have a family meeting with me, Corey and my mom. So after this family meeting and my dad felt better about Corey (I think anyways) we where finally able to date but we really never have a true date in the sense until we went to Homecoming that fall. He took me to Red Lobster for dinner then to the dance. It was weird for Corey to go to a school dance when he never went to them when he was in school and now he is 22 years old and going with a 17 year old to a High School dance.
I know my parents had my best interest at heart but I truly loved Corey then and I still do to this day. I can honestly say he is truly my soul mate. I am so lucky and so thankful to have a man that loves me for me with all my faults and all my problems. We will be celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary this September. Thanks Corey for being my ROCK in life.

Movie Monday...

I did not watch much but what I did watch was totally enough for me. I don't watch scary movies, one of the main reason's is because Corey loves to scare me while I watch it.

A nice relaxing Saturday at home with Thor and Buster. I cleaned house as they relaxed and took naps most of the day. I was able to scrap a little today which was nice. Wanted to share a few pics of the doggies.

Another Boob Update.
Went and seen Dr. John Droesch yesterday in Richland, Washington. I am really happy with this surgeon he made me and Corey feel really comfortable as we talked to him about everything. He strongly believes that one of the lumps is just fine but the other one he wants to keep an eye on. We talked about a biopsy but I really don't want to do one at this time. So we are going to wait three months then go have another ultrasound done, if there are any changes then we will biopsy it. So things sound good and we will just wait till August and then see if anything changed.
One other thing that we have not been so happy about that it took Dr. Gifford's office 10 days before they called me with the results of the second mamo and the ultrasound. But in the mean time I have already seen Dr. Droesch.

Well for this Friday's challenge I choose to take Truth. So the turth is to POST your true weight vs your real weight on your driver's license. Okay so my wight on the drivers license say's 230 pounds but I am now 202 pounds. I have no problem sharing my weight now that I have been doing Weight Wacther for the last 24 weeks.

7 Random Weird things about ME!!
Lisa's blog challenge it to give you 7 random weird things about me. Okay here they are.
1~ Both of my pinkies are krucked and tiny. I get this from my mothers side of the family.
2~ I can not stand raw/fresh tomatoes. I will pick them out and eat around them can not stand the taste and texture of them.
3~ After having a bad day at work I get into my car and rock out. I turn the radio up and tune the rest of the world out on my drive home. (which is only about 1.5 miles :) )
4~ I have to sleep with covers even in the summer I can go without the blanket or comfortor but I have to have the sheet at least. It my security blanket:) lol!!
5~ I have one large toe then 4 little bitty toes that you can hardly see in sandles. This is also thanks to my mothers side of the family.
6~ I can only drink coffee if it taste like candy. It's so funny because a few years ago I would not even think about going and getting a latte but now I love them as long as I don't taste the coffee. I still can not drink a plain cup of coffee to this day.
7~ When I scrap at home I like to watch James Bond movies, Fletch or Fletch Lives.

WW update...
I lost 2.8 pounds this last week. I was so happy last night after weighing in to find out that I lost 2.8 after last weigh in and gaining 1.8. So my total loss todate is 36.8 pounds. Each week I am getting closer to my goal.
Have to let you know that Cindy as well had a GREAT weigh in last night and lost over 3 pounds. I am so proud of her keep up the good work girl.

Boob Update...
I finally got my hands onto the May 7th, 2007 report. It reads...
Coned views left breast:
exaggerated craniocaudad and direct mediolateral views of the left breast are performed, and reviewed with standard techniques including magnification imaging, and compared to the prior study and report, recent report dated 04-23-2007. The new densities on the left show no apparent worrisome microcalcifications and there is no skin thickening seen. See following report of the ultrasound findings.
Left breast ultrasound:
High resolution linear array scan show cysts about the left nipple, at 6 o'clock measuring approximately 6x10 mm, with good through transmission, appearing benign. On the left at about the 9 o'clock position, 3cm from the nipple there is a nodule measuring 9x7 mm having the appearance of a mildly complex cyst, but through transmission is seen. This nodule deserves further evaluation, followup ultrasound in the next 3-6 months time to monitor is recommended.
Summary:
1) BI-RADS 3: Probably Benign.
2) Recommend monitoring of the left breast by ultrasound follow up as described above.

I know this sounds bad but the only two things that we have on video is our wedding (1993) and Corey racing (1992). Of course my wedding video is my most favorite because that was the day that I married my best friend. I am so lucky to have a man like Corey, this September with be our 14th wedding anniversary.

Doctor's...
are really making me upset today. I am still unable to get a copy of the report from my testing on Monday May 7th, 2007. So all that I know thanks to Kelly at Dr. Gifford's office is that I need to have more testing in the next 3-6 months. I went to the Hospital this morning in hopes to get a copy of the report NO such luck have to wait 7 days before I can get it from them and I can not get it from my Dr. because he has not reviewed the report yet. So here I sit waiting and waring what's up with my left breast.
So I am sitting here trying to freak out and trying to keep my mind busy with work. A good thing is I am leaving town tonight for Salem for my cousin Ellie's Graduation from Willamette University. I am so looking forward to shopping at Salem Center mall for so new jeans and shirts in a size smaller even. I have been wearing close that are to big for me which is nice but I would like to have some that fit me better.

A bad WW meeting...
because I gained 1.8 pounds. I feel so bad about it, I know these things will happen but it still makes me upset at myself. So I am back on track I am eating a good breakfast and I have planned lunch and dinner already. I am also giving up my Starbucks for a while as well. If I want to reach my August goal I need to get focused and keep on track with my eating and working out. (the August goal is 50 pounds lost half of my total weight loss goal) It's hard work and I know I have slacked off this last week. So that week is over and a new one has started. So next Monday night at my WW meeting I will be a loser again :) !!

TOD Friday
1) Do you have a tattoo? YES! Where? On the right side of my back. Why? Because I wanted one!! What does it look like? This is the artwork of my tattoo.
2) Are you a "fly by the seat of your pants gal" or "a planner"? (Love me some Julia Roberts circa "Pretty Woman" vibe) I am a planner girl. I have to have a list when I am packing or to make sure that all gets done. In fact I still need to make my list for packing since I am leaving town next weekend. :)

3 things that I know for sure are...
1) that I married the best man in the world and that he is truly my soul mate.
2) that dogs are as bad a having kids, you have to feed them clean them pick up after them.
3) scrapbooking is the best hobby a girl could have. You get to have a mini day vacation from the real world and hang out with some really great gals.
